How do I recycle waste diesel oil?

three brown barrels

The process begins with the collection of used diesel oil, which is typically sourced from industrial machinery, trucks, ships, and other heavy equipment. The oil is often contaminated with dirt, metals, and water. In the pre-treatment phase, the oil is filtered to remove these solid impurities and water to prevent damage to the distillation equipment. This filtration ensures that only the oil enters the next stages of the process, improving efficiency and output quality.

Collection and Pre-treatment

How Used Oil Becomes Usable Diesel Again

Heat Application and Vaporization

After pre-treatment, the filtered oil is heated to high temperatures in a specialized distillation chamber. This controlled heating causes the oil to vaporize, breaking it down into different components. Since oil has various substances, the vaporization occurs at different temperature ranges, which allows us to separate diesel from other unwanted byproducts effectively.

Condensation

Once vaporized, the next step is condensation. The separated diesel vapors are cooled back down into a liquid form through condensation tubes, while the remaining waste byproducts are segregated. The result is a purified, usable diesel fuel that is ready for further refinement and use in industrial applications.

Further Refinement and Quality Check

To ensure the highest standards, the distilled diesel undergoes further refinement. This final polishing step ensures that the diesel meets the required specifications for fuel use, removing any lingering contaminants and adjusting the diesel’s properties for various industrial applications. A thorough quality check is done at every stage to ensure that the recycled diesel meets stringent performance and environmental standards.

Ready-to-Use Diesel Fuel

The end product is clean, high-quality diesel that is virtually indistinguishable from new diesel. This recycled diesel is ready for use in machinery, generators, vehicles, and more.
The end application is also used directly in trucks, generators and heavy equipments. In automobiles with CRDI engines, this diesel can be directly used. In EURO 5 and EURO 6 cars we mix it with 10-15% regular diesel.

Why is it necessary?

Every year, industries around the world face the growing challenge of disposing of used diesel oil in an environmentally responsible manner. Traditional disposal methods are costly and can cause significant environmental damage if not handled properly. But what if there was a way to not only avoid these issues but also turn your waste diesel oil into a valuable resource? At Veera, we have the solution. Our advanced waste oil distillation process efficiently converts used oil back into high-quality diesel fuel, ensuring businesses can recycle waste oil sustainably while reducing their reliance on newly refined diesel.

Veera Cares for nature.

Waste diesel oil is not just a byproduct; it’s a valuable resource waiting to be reclaimed. Used diesel oil, if not recycled, poses a significant environmental risk. Contaminants such as heavy metals, ash, and various pollutants in used oil make it a hazardous waste that can harm both ecosystems and human health. Improper disposal of waste diesel oil can result in soil and water contamination, leading to long-term ecological damage. Beyond the environmental risks, businesses that dispose of their used oil through traditional means may incur hefty waste disposal costs.

The good news is that there is a more sustainable alternative. Through proper recycling techniques, waste diesel oil can be reclaimed and transformed into usable fuel. This not only helps protect the environment but also provides economic benefits for businesses by reducing the need to purchase fresh diesel. In essence, recycling waste diesel oil closes the loop and creates a circular economy where waste becomes a valuable commodity.

Very impressive machine after purchasing my first one immediately ordered my second 5O litre continuous waste oil to diesel machine. Venkatesh ensured all my questions were answered instantly and we look forward to a great partnership.

Hear what our clients want to say

We have heard only positive about Veera from various sources in Europe. we even said NO to the video call they do as standard for all clients as we trust the word of such good references. We are very happy with their service and ordering base oil machines and diesel machines. Wish to order more soon too.
